Nowadays, following the industrial progress and the entry of machines, devices and systems into the lives of people and the increasing role of equipment and tools in work processes and increase human interaction with components of industrial environments, organizations with new and continuous challenges related to health, safety and health They have found that obeying the old rules and obvious principles alone is no longer enough to get rid of accidents and catastrophic dangers.

Therefore, in order to maintain and protect the human resources, which is the most important factor in the promotion of an organization, and in order to preserve the environment and prevent damage to equipment and facilities, and to end all possible concerns, the HSE strategy was launched to take an approach. Provide ‌ to reduce risks and maximize workplace health.

Over the years, many efforts have been made to ensure safety in our workplace, and the issue of protecting the health of the workforce has long been a priority. Therefore, in implementing the safety system, we have paid special attention to international standards, including ISO 45001. We have also identified all of our health and safety activities and developed programs and measurements to control and improve them. The results of these measurements are reported to management by monitoring and reviewing performance and correcting nonconformities observed in audits.

 

The most important measures taken in the field of health:

  • Communicating with the doctor and in order to control and review the courses of all employees of the complex, including the employer and contractors  
  • Providing a place in the workplace for temporary hospitalization and rest of the sick or injured person with all equipment and facilities
  • Examining the drinking water quality of the complex and closely monitoring the distribution of food or possibly cooking and serving food in the workplace
  • Performing occasional and periodic improvement, baiting and spraying operations to eradicate and keep pests away
  • Carrying out pre-employment examinations of personnel and contractors and periodic and civil examinations to check and monitor the health of employees
  • Check the checklist for periodic visits to the canteen, buffet and water house of the complex and follow up to eliminate possible deficiencies.
  • Regular monthly meetings of the Committee for Protection, Safety and Health with the presence of a representative of the Labor Office and safety officials among employees 
  • Implement a daily short exercise program between working hours to ensure the physical health and fitness of staff
  • Investigate, follow up and improve the cleanliness of the sanitary services of the complex and control the presence of a sufficient amount of washing liquid 
  • Regular cleaning of floors, corridors and work rooms, cleaning of tables and devices, and disinfection of handles by services
  • Preparation and installation of waste bins in the workplace sections separately and dry and monitoring the timely discharge and maintaining their cleanliness
  • Preparation of educational articles and posters with health topics and topics of pollution control and prevention of disease outbreaks
  • Installation and charging of first aid kits and drug supply and periodic review for disposal of expired drugs
  • Previous training and readiness of the organization staff to send the injured personnel to the hospital in case of accidents
